Additional security when paying with Visa, Mastercard or American Express

The system checks whether the credit card participates in the 3-D Secure programs Verified by Visa, Mastercard ID Check or American Express SafeKey.
These are encryption and security procedures specially developed for these types of cards. If a credit card holder is registered with the 3-D Secure procedure using one of the registration methods, an additional query screen opens after the order has been completed, which is linked to your bank and asks you to enter the "Secure Code" (a password you choose or a dynamic password that you receive via SMS on your cell phone after entering your credit card details). The transaction will only be carried out with the correct password. If you are not registered but your card issuing bank supports the procedure, you will be asked to create the 3-D Secure password.

PayPal

You can pay us safely and easily via PayPal. PayPal accepts payments up to a purchase price of 100,000 euros.

  1. In the order step 'Payment method' select PayPal.
  2. In the next step you will be automatically redirected to PayPal.
    If you are already a PayPal customer, you can log in there with your user data and confirm the payment.
    If you do not have a PayPal account yet, you can open a PayPal account and then confirm the payment.
  3. Complete your order with us by clicking on Order now with payment in the last step.
  4. If the goods are in stock, they will be ready for dispatch on the day of payment confirmation from PayPal or at the latest on the following working day and will be dispatched.

We usually receive payment within a few minutes of the contract being concluded. If the goods are specified with a delivery time, they will usually be delivered to you within the same time.

Credits from returns are always credited back to the PayPal account used for the purchase. Whether you then want to continue using the credit in your PayPal account directly with PayPal or transfer it back to your checking or credit card account is up to you and can be processed directly with PayPal. We have no influence on this.

IDEAL

iDEAL payments can only be made through participating Dutch banks. Registration is not necessary. The buyer only needs an account with one of the participating iDEAL banks that is activated for online banking. These include ABN AMRO, ASN Bank, Friesland Bank, ING, Knab, Rabobank, RegioBank, SNS Bank, Triodos Bank or Van Lanschot Bankiers.

  3. Complete the order. After completing the order, you will be redirected to your bank's familiar online banking page, where you can enter your customer details to execute a transfer order.

Sofortüberweisung (KLARNA)

SOFORT Überweisung is the direct transfer method from SOFORT AG. It allows you to shop quickly and securely and is one of the safest payment methods on the Internet. You do not need to register for it; you can pay simply and securely using your online banking details.

Horando receives a real-time confirmation after the SOFORT transfer has been completed and can therefore immediately ship the ordered goods, provided they are in stock. This payment method meets the high security standards of online banking and has TÜV-certified data protection.

  1. Select SOFORT Überweisung as payment method
  2. Complete the order. You will be redirected to a secure payment form from SOFORT Überweisung.
  3. Log in as usual with your online banking data (access data/PIN). Only transaction-relevant data is saved. PIN and TAN are not saved.
  4. Confirm the order with a TAN.

BITPAY

Together with Bitpay, we offer you the option of paying the purchase price in crypto currencies via Bitpay. If you choose this payment method, the purchase price in euros is still agreed and owed for the purchase contract concluded between you and HORANDO.

Through our service partner Bitpay, we only offer you the option of transferring your cryptocurrency to Bitpay, and Bitpay will exchange this cryptocurrency into euros and pay us the amount (purchase price) in euros. Please note that Bitpay charges fees for the transaction, i.e. for exchanging your cryptocurrency into euros.

These costs are borne (partially) by HORANDO.

In the event that you withdraw from, revoke or reverse the purchase contract with Horando after paying the purchase price for a reason for which you are responsible (e.g. error, dissatisfaction with the purchased item), the following applies:

We will provide you with a return label - free of charge for you. Once we have received and checked the watch with all the documents, we will refund the purchase price agreed in the contract in euros to Bitpay. Bitpay will exchange the purchase price refunded in euros back into the cryptocurrency you originally paid. The costs incurred by Bitpay for the exchange back and any possible fluctuations in the cryptocurrency exchange rate are at your expense and must be borne by you.

Accordingly, it is possible that you will receive back less cryptocurrency than you initially paid. HORANDO has fulfilled its obligation to refund by transferring the contractual purchase price in euros to BitPay.

By selecting the payment method “Bitpay”, the customer agrees to the above regulations, in particular regarding the payment of costs.

advance payment

If you pay in advance, your order will be processed as soon as we receive your payment. When making the transfer, please make sure to include your order number in the purpose of payment. Depending on the bank, it can take between one and four working days for your payment to reach us. If you want to return a watch, the corresponding value of the goods will be credited back to the bank account from which you transferred the amount.
