The extremely precise mechanism of Omega watches also applies to measuring the phases of the moon, because it is sufficient to reset every 10 years, otherwise the movement runs precisely. But the design is also remarkable. The stainless steel models have a detailed image of the moon, which is based on the extraordinary micro-structure on the metallic crystal disc.
