The Frederique Constant Vintage Rally Healey models are available as a 24-hour GMT version with a date and as a chronograph with bicompax totalizers without a date. Both are powered by a fully automatic caliber from the FC-300 series. The FC-350 caliber of the Vintage Rally Healey GMT has a power reserve of 38 hours, while the FC-397 caliber even has a 46-hour power reserve. The case size of the chronograph is also slightly different at 42 millimeters compared to the 40 millimeter diameter of the GMT watch. At 14.45 millimeters high, it is also two millimeters taller than the Vintage Rally Healey GMT - which has a transparent case back. The dial shows at first glance who this classically elegant and timelessly designed duo is honoring, as the logo of the English roadster manufacturer Austin Healey is emblazoned on each watch at six o'clock. Like other models in the Vintage Rally series, the Healey GMT and Healey Chronograph are also limited, but Frederique Constant is less strict this time: instead of the usual 1,888 pieces, the Vintage Rally Healey GMT and Chronograph will be produced in 2,888 copies each.
Stainless steel, some gold and leather in racing look
Frederique Constant has chosen the materials as classic as the lines in the design of the Vintage Rally Healey models. All cases are made of stainless steel and, in the case of two GMT models and a Healey chronograph, are also gold-plated. This limited edition once again achieves Frederique Constant's typical combination of luxury paired with excellent precision and understatement at an attractive price level. With indices on the dials, the minimalist design continues down to the last detail. The leather straps, in brown or black depending on the model, exude an almost extravagant feel: they are decorated with striking perforations in a racing look along their entire length. With this fine detail, they fit perfectly with the cutouts of traditional driving gloves if the wearer of a Frédérique Constant Vintage Rally Healey should actually set off for a drive in an airy old car. It can also get wet, because the GMT and chronograph are both waterproof and can withstand a water pressure of five atmospheres each.
