On the Imola circuit, Senna had a tragic accident in the Tamburello curve. Many people still remember this event and look back on this day with sadness. Nevertheless, Senna left behind a lot of positive things and his deeds remain unforgettable to this day.
Ayrton Senna would have turned 61 on March 21st. In honor of this day, we would like to remember a very special person who achieved a lot in his life and beyond. He brought a lot of positive things to this world by being one of the people who looked after unemployed associations and children's hospitals. His vision of a better Brazil remains in people's minds to this day and he made significant contributions to making the world a better place. The collaboration with Tag Heuer during his lifetime has continued to this day. The name Senna is probably one of the few names that is particularly typical of determination and efficiency in one person. He became known at the time for his successes in the Grand Prix and was able to achieve a true luminary status there over time. This person was therefore not only characterized by his determination and his confident demeanor, but he also thrilled the audience with his exceptional character traits and charismatic qualities. In honor of his birthday, we present the Senna and Tag Heuer collection.
The special edition, which comes as a 44 mm automatic or 43 mm quartz model, scores points for its exquisite details and appearance, leaving the viewer with an unmistakable impression that still lives up to the Senna name years later. The collaboration between Senna and Tag Heuer developed into an undisputed masterpiece of international watch history then and now. The symbiosis of these two leaders in their respective fields makes it clear how magnificently such precise and innovative timepieces sit on the wearer's wrist and how strikingly skilled the attention to detail has been. In this context, the properties of these new special editions are characterized above all by their lovingly selected compositions and eye-catching, but also carefully selected components.

The electronic Tag Heuer and Senna special edition with quartz
The masculine case and the finely brushed stainless steel strap ensure an extravagant and skilful appearance. The evenly screwed crown was also attached with so much care and precision that even the most knowledgeable expert will pay attention to this work of art. Also not to be overlooked is the striking and brilliant display window, which is characterized by its yellowish glowing accents.
At the same time, it gives the piece of jewelry a stylish character and presents the delicate details of this watch in a completely new light. But other attributes also ensure a stylish overall image and are indicative of these synergies. The fixed, black ceramic bezel with Senna lettering and tachymeter scale draws the viewer's attention in particular to the unmistakable special features of this masterpiece.
What is also particularly striking about these pieces of bravura is the precisely positioned dial and the unmistakable, brand-typical engraving on the case back. But it is not just in terms of the dial and case that the Senner / Tag Heuer cooperation is victorious. The ability of this watch to master dives of up to 200 meters depth has also proven to be extremely useful. In this sense, this is an obvious and competitive diving watch, although the sporty characteristics of this masterpiece originally found their way into motorsports. Well deserved, because we are right to speak of a multiple champion. The second Senna special edition still impresses with its tried and tested automatic movement and beats at 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. This even captivates passionate experts, because this edition also has an additional 42 hours of power reserve.
Wearers of these first-class chronometers can be captivated by the original and imaginative additions, as well as by the innovative sub-dial. The tricompax layout of this watch remains unchanged in the special edition, but there is now a 12-hour scale at six, a small second at nine and a 30-minute scale at 12 o'clock. After all, it's the details that count, and this watch scores points for dynamism and elegance in equal measure.
The automatic movement also proves to be a reliable alternative to the digital version. With carefully selected screws placed with millimeter precision and finely selected mechanics, the watch will delight even connoisseurs of the movement. The carefully designed inner workings are literally bursting with precision work and are always working very actively to display the time precisely and accurately. Be it the finish line on the race track or the next second section on the display, these two masters always head for it punctually and accurately.
freedom and self-determination
